Stylish wedding photography.
I think you can tell a lot by what people have on their wall. So the first thing I see when I walk into the Islington flat where George and the ushers are getting ready is this,
I love it, what a beautiful painting, not only do this couple have great taste, they also have decks. (In my other life I am DJ.) I’m happy as I know it’s going to be a good day. Both George and Rebecca are creatives and work in Television, I think I was recommended to Rebecca via a colleague, as I photographed their wedding. This is how it works best, people only recommend you if you have done a good job. So word of mouth is better than Google.
After visiting George and the boys getting in the mood on the rooftops of London, I headed down the road to where Rebecca and the girls were cracking open the Champagne. A spot of lunch and then to the splendid Islington Town Hall where the ceremony was taking place.
Half an hour later everyone piled into a double decker red bus for more drinks. The bus wound its way through the streets of London to its destination, London Bridge.
I haven’t been to The Oyster Shed before, but it turns out to be a stunning venue overlooking The South Bank and The Shard. Lovely light pours in through the glazed front of the building. It is a wonderful place to eat, drink and have a party.
A great day, great couple, and as a result some great stylish wedding photography.
